Capstone is a comprehensive, semester long project, about a subject of our choosing. There is research, branding, design, and production in this project. My project was titled Live Wright.
Live Wright is an educational campaign striving to teach recent graduates natural life skills that have been lost or neglected in societies pursuit of technology and specialized labor. Some examples of these skills are building, growing food, navigating with map and compass, fire-making, and using tools. Live Wright hopes to inspire young people to be more self-reliant through the teaching and use of skills such as these. While these skills apply to a life ‘off the grid’ this is not the sole purpose of this campaign. These skills are useful in everyday life as well as in emergency situations, in psychological and economic ways.
